Christophe & Katrien
Katrien and I love horses since we were born. This because our parents both liked horses. We started competetion when we were very young. This was our focus, and after a while we were able to train horses up to Prix St Georges level. We were trained by Mevr. De Baere, Eppo Roovers, Stefan Van Ingelgem, Arthur Kottas and Henk Van Bergen but the last years we have a special relation with Coby Van Baalen, a woman with so many passion in riding and training. She helped us a lot.
At a certain moment we were thinking about breeding. Besides riding, we started a breeding program. But one thing is for sure, quality above quantity! When you are visiting this site we hope you notice that we only use top dressage blood.
Now and then we are asked to give clinics. If that suits in our time schedule, we do that with pleasure.
Ineke
Ineke is our oldest daughter. She started riding when she was 7. Lucifer was her first pony. She learned a lot of this pony and has won lots of competitions. On this photo you see Ineke and Lucifer.
Her new pony Citou De Luxe (Champion De Luxe x Dornik B) has already won several competitions.
Laurens
This our son Laurens. He also learned riding with Lucifer. That is the reason why he was able to ride his three year old Don Ducky (Don’t Worry x Champion De Luxe x Dornik B).
Did you know...
- Katrien likes jumping?
- Christophe stopped jumping when he was 12 years old after he fell of 3 times on 1 day?
- Ineke doesn't like jumping at all.
- we rode 5 horses till Z1 level and higher.
- Puccini (Lys De Darmen x Carneval) is our first own bred horse. We learned a lot of him! As a 6 year old, he became national champion in Z1 level. We competed him 3 years at Prix St Georges level.
- our own bred Walkman (Ferro x Carneval) did piaffe when he was 5 years old. After we competed him at the German M-level, we sold this horse. He now is a Grand Prix horse in the USA.
- Christophe has trained Diona from the beginning up to Prix St Georges level.
- Wandra was Christophe's first horse.
